Terms of Service — Branchify

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using Branchify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
Branchify is a personal and professional task management tool. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Subscription Plans
Branchify offers two plans:
Free plan: No charge. Subject to project limits (maximum 2 projects), task limits (maximum 100 tasks), and a limited monthly AI credit allocation.
Pro plan: $4.99 per month (USD), billed monthly via Stripe. Provides higher project limits (50 projects), unlimited tasks, access to Pro-only features, and a larger monthly AI credit allocation with rollover.
We reserve the right to modify plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Billing and Payment
All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to the Pro plan, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial months.
We do not store payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
7. AI Features and Credits
Certain features in Branchify are powered by AI and consume "credits." Credits are a consumable resource allocated to your account monthly:
- Free plan: 5 credits per month, plus a one-time 20-credit signup bonus.
- Pro plan: 200 credits per month, with unused credits rolling over up to a maximum of 400.
Credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value. Consumed credits are non-refundable. If you exhaust your monthly allocation, Pro users may purchase a one-time top-up of 50 credits for $0.99. Credits expire at the end of each monthly cycle for Free users (no rollover).
Before any AI action consumes credits, you will be shown the estimated cost and asked to confirm. No credits are deducted without your explicit confirmation.
8. User-Provided API Keys
You may optionally configure your own third-party AI provider API key (e.g., Anthropic) in Settings. When you do, Branchify AI features use your key directly and no Branchify credits are consumed. You are solely responsible for any costs incurred with your own API key and for complying with your API provider's terms of service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Branchify shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
